Chandigarh Traffic Police have issued an advisory for commuters in view of a scheduled Waris Punjab De rally on Wednesday. The rally is planned from Gurdwara Amb Sahib to the Punjab governor's house.
According to The Tribune, the advisory is for commuters traveling between Chandigarh and Mohali and those near ISBT-43. Special arrangements will be in place from 9.30 am.
Routes Affected by Traffic Restrictions
Traffic movement will remain diverted or restricted on several key road stretches. The first affected stretch is from the UT-Mohali border (behind Burail Jail) to Sector 50/51 Chowk.
Restrictions will also be in place from the Sector 50/51 Chowk to Sector 44/45-50/51 Chowk (Gaushala Chowk) along Sarovar Path. This includes the Sector 44/45 Light Point.
Similarly, diversions will be enforced on the road stretch from Sector 43/44/51/52 Chowk (ISBT Chowk) to Sector 44/45-50/51 Chowk (Gaushala Chowk) and further towards Sector 45-46/49/50 Chowk.
